May 30, 2015

Assistant professors Tracy Becker and Lydell Wiebe have recieved funding from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation and the Ontario Research Fund to construct a large-scale 3DOF testing machine. The machine will be used to test structural components, such as isolators, walls, or rocking frames, under realisitca loading at dynamic speeds. In the future, we hope to include hybrid control capabilities for the system.
